Life is full of transitions and challenges and sometimes these feel too difficult to face alone. I can support you to explore these experiences in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental place. I aim to listen and support you regardless of the issues you are facing and be your companion on your journey to healing. I offer a warm and calm space where you can feel open to make sense of your life experiences and identify the inner resources that will help you achieve growth and emotional wellbeing.
About me and my practice
I am an Integrative counsellor and an Accredited Member of BACP. Whilst my practice is in Cambridge, I offer online counselling nationwide.
I have twenty years of experience working with adults and young people within counselling, social work and education settings. My lifes path has taken me to live and work in Italy, Australia, Greece and the UK and this journey has allowed me to develop an insight into peoples life transitions as well as their search for identity and belonging.
I am warm, empathic and thoughtful in my approach to counselling and I aim to create a safe space where you can feel free to explore your emotions. As there are many types of transitions and difficulties we are faced with throughout our lives, I seek to support you to discover your inner resources and find your own way forward.
Experience
I use an integrative framework which means that I draw from different theoretical approaches to inform my work and meet your individual needs. I provide counselling for a variety of issues and difficulties, including work related stress, self-confidence issues, grief, depression, anxiety, abuse, relationship issues, miscarriage, childhood abuse, family issues, cultural difficulties, stress and trauma. These issues are explored in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
I deliver short or long-term therapy depending on your needs and I offer face-to-face as well as online counselling.
I have shaped my practice after working for several years within the Cambridgeshire County Council, local community organizations, including Blue Smile, CPSL Mind and Cogwheel Counselling as well as my current position at the University of Cambridge as a college counsellor.
I am a recognized provider for Vitality Health, Aviva and WPA insurance companies.
I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and as such I adhere to the BACP ethical framework.

The relationship between client and counsellor is at the heart of successful counselling. Therefore, it is important to choose a counsellor that you feel you can trust in order to start your healing journey.
I offer a 15-minute intro call to see how you feel about working with me.
Our first session will be an opportunity to get to know each other and to see if we can work well together. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, what you would like to get out of counselling and we will agree on the best way forward to meet your needs.
